Our story

Whilst in venture capital, our founder Georgina saw the need for companies in her portfolio to find new pools of premium, available, and diverse tech talent.

She turned to Africa, which is witnessing a surge in available, high-quality talent thanks to significant enhancements in connectivity, IT infrastructure, and education.

While seeking an existing company to facilitate these placements, Georgina found a gap. She founded Kupa alongside a remote team in Africa and Europe.

At Kupa, our mission is to meaningfully shape the careers of the talent we place. This entails building a non-traditional placement firm that a) identifies and champions underrepresented talent and b) prioritise high-quality, mission-driven clients.

We were founded on the conviction that bridging exceptional people to opportunity will foster innovation, unity, and action.
